This generously sized lightweight shawl is incredibly versatile. It is delicate enough for a summer wedding, it can be tied at the hip as a beach wrap or even wrapped around itself to make an elegant warm winter scarf. With the twinkle of beads to compliment the simple lace pattern this shawl will add a touch of sparkle to any occasion!

Skills / Techniques Used: Lacework and beadwork

Sizes: One size fits all

Measurements: The finished blocked item measures 70” (178cm) wingspan and 28” (71cm) length

Materials

• 1.75 oz / 50 g, 436 yd / 400m laceweight yarn. 
• 1 x 3.5mm - 80cm circular needle 
• 556 x size 8 beads, either threaded onto yarn before casting on or added using an 0.85mm crochet hook as you go along

Gauge: 22 stitches and 34 rows to 4 inches / 10cm in stockinette stitch
