And the theme for this year? Christmas Lights. A whole month of colour, glow, and festive sparkle!

 The 2026 advent includes:

• 24 x 10g individually wrapped mini skeins which work together to create a fade with pops of contrast colours.
• A knitting pattern for a Wrap included as daily instructions as well as a full copy of the pattern.
• A set of themed stitch markers

Exciting news! I have been working with the talented Fabiana of 'FabiBags' and she has created an incredible themed project bag exclusively for this advent! The project bag will be big enough to house all of your mini's, WIP and notions and will even have a special pocket for the pattern too.

Project Bag Details

Materials: The bag exterior is quilted using cotton fabrics and has an embroidered panel to match the theme of the advent!

Size: The bag measures 14.5" / 26cm wide, 4" / 10cm deep and 13" / 33cm high. It has been specifically designed to hold all of your advent safely together as you work.

Pockets: There is an outer slip pocket for notes, notions and your pattern and an inner divider so you can keep your WIP on one side and your yarns on the other.

The bag is closed with a zip with a festive charm to finish it off!

Christmas Day Skein

As per previous advents you can choose to add a final exclusive colourway skein to open on Christmas day too! 

Needles

Due to the 3 needle bind-off at the end you will need a 2 x 3.75mm needles, either 2 sets of straights or 2 x 60-80cm circular needles for the project. There will be an option to add these to your advent. 

About the Pattern 

The pattern is for a large, rectangular wrap.  

The Christmas Lights Wrap uses mostly knit and purl stitches, but with the occasional dip-stitch to create a striking pattern as you go. It's super easy to do and tutorials will be provided on how to do this. 

As you work through the mini's they are joined in stripes and you are only ever working with one colour per row. 

The wrap is worked in 2 halves and joined together at the end using a 3-needle bind-off (or your preffered grafting method). 

The wrap uses just slipped edge stitches, knit, purl and dipped stitches, there are no lace stitches in the pattern. 

About the Colours 

The Christmas Lights wrap uses bright, rich colours to create a fade which is worked using the 4ply sock yarn base of 75% Superwash merino / 25% nylon. 

The dipped stitch pattern is worked using bright, sparkle yarn colours that pop out and sparkle against the background. 

You will recieve a paper copy of the pattern in your Advent as well as daily instructions and also a digital copy via Ravelry or Email once the pattern is officially released in January 2027. 

Payment and Shipping 

Advents will be shipped to the UK from the beginning of November 2026.

Overseas orders will be shipped in October. 

Payment plans are available through the checkout. Choose Klarna to spread your payment over 3 months (interest free). 

Advent Calenders will not be shipped until full payment has been made. 

Other Information 

There are a limited amout of Advents available and they are open for pre-order until the end of July, or until they run out. In the previous 2 years that I have been offering Advents they have all sold out within a week so if you are thinking you might like one please do order it sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.  

Terms and Conditions 

Your Advent will be dyed to order. From the date of placing your order there is 14 day cooling off period, after which payments are considered non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
