Shawl Knitting Kit with Beads - Love Is...

Get everything you need to knit the Love Is... shawl in one handy kit. Please note that these kits are made up to order and it may take up to 1 week for it to be shipped.

The kit contains:

• 2 x 100g / 400m skeins of 4ply Merino and Silk Yarn (50% superwash merino wool and 50% silk) in the Purple Haze colour
• The pattern (PDF or print)
• A pack of Size 7 Mutabo (3.5mm) beads in Violet / Grey
• An organza project bag
• A Stitch Marker

In addition you will need*:

• 1 x US size 5 (3.75mm) 40-47” (100-120cm) circular needle
• 1 x 0.75mm crochet hook for adding the beads
• 29 stitch markers (optional for marking off the lace repeats)

Pattern Information

The shawl begins with a 4-row lace stitch pattern, which quickly becomes intuitive after a few repeats. The lace then evolves into full heart shapes that join together in a garland across the middle of the shawl, each heart connected by a single shimmering bead.

As you close off the hearts, feathered columns of stitches flow towards the border, accented by the occasional bead. These beads not only give a subtle sparkle to your shawl but also add a little weight which results in a luxurious drape.
