About this Pattern

This pattern is a great alternative to using a sock knitting yarn set for a shawl instead of socks. You will need a 100g / 425m full skein of yarn and a 20g / 85m mini-skein.

Starting at the tip, as the pattern grows columns are created using a simple stitch pattern of increases and decreases. This makes it a great choice to showcase a variegated or colourful yarn.

As you approach the border, a contrast yarn is introduced to break up the columns, like a shot of cream swirling into your coffee.
