Beaded Cowl Knitting Kit - Cathedral Cowl

This Beaded Cowl Knitting kit contains:

• A 100g / 135m skein of Double Knit Yarn in the choice of 2 colours:
• Ghost (light grey)
• Raspberry
• 1 pattern (PDF or print)
• 210 x Size 6 Knitting Beads in a choice of Silver or Iridescent Purple 
• 1 removable marker

In addition you will need*:

• 1 x 40cm 4mm circular needle
• A 0.75mm crochet hook

Notes:

• The Raspberry colour is not the same as the dark red / purple colour that you may have seen in the other photos for this cowl. Raspberry is a deep, vibrant red / pink colour.
• Other yarn and bead colour combinations can be put together for you on request

About this Pattern

The Cathedral Cowl was inspired by a beautiful doorway framed by a set of towering arches at York Cathedral. The arches were a contrast of bold, smooth lines with intricate stone carvings between them. This cowl uses bold diagonal lines with smooth stockinette, and the textured garter stitch and the addition of the simple lace and beads add the finer details to the accessory.

Knitted in the round for a seamless finish and with double knit yarn means that the cowl knits up quickly, making this a quick. cozy and elegant knit.

Measurements – The finished cowl measures 24” (61cm) in circumference and 12” (30.5cm) in depth once blocked

Gauge

20 stitches and 28 rows to 4” / 10cm in stockinette stitch after blocking
