This delicate, lightweight beaded shawl is the perfect accessory to compliment a party dress, or wear as a scarf with jeans and a t-shirt to add a little touch of glamour to every day. The combination of beads and laceweight yarn result in a delicate and eye-catching shawl that you will be sure to reach for time and time again.

Sizes: One size fits all
Measurements: The finished blocked item measures 55” (140cm) wingspan and 15” (38cm) length
• 1.75 oz / 50 g, 436 yd / 400m laceweight yarn. • US size 4 (3.5mm) 40” (100cm) circular needle • 184 x size 8 beads, either threaded onto yarn before casting on or added using an 0.5mm crochet hook as you go along (if you wish to add beads to the picot bind off you will need a total of 246 beads)
25 stitches and 34 rows to 4 inches / 10cm in stockinette stitch
The lace stitch is a 10 row by 6 stitch repeat pattern, but for the 5th and 6th rows of the lace the stitch count in each repeat drops from 6 to 4 sts, the stitch count is restored on row 7.
