January 2019 - Shop Update
Posted on
I have been very busy lately adding lots of new yarns and kits to the website :)
Yarns
As well as lots of unique and one of a kind skeins I have been working on a range of repeatable colourways for 2019. Here are three new ‘regulars’. There are currently a couple of each on the Chora base (75% superwash merino / 25% nylon) – ideal for a new pair of socks! Look out for other weights and bases in these colourways coming soon!
Norwegian Fir
Inspired by snow laden fir trees, this colourway mixes shades of green ranging from yellow tints to a cool dark forest green, with subtle speckles and natural white strands.
Dark navy blues with hints of a deep plum pink make up this rich colourway. Light and dark tones of each colour mix together to create a mix of blues, pinks and purples and the skein is finished with a liberal sprinkling of dark and plum speckles all over.
Red Wine by the Fire
This was a festive inspired colourway, but I liked it so much I decided to keep it for all year round! Red wine by the Fire is predominately a deep claret colour which mixes into brighter reds and oranges. The whole skein is then heavily speckled creating a mix of dark and light tones throughout the skein.
Kits
It’s now even easier to create your own knitting kit from the website! And what's more, if you buy a kit, you get a PDF e-mail of the pattern (or a copy for your Ravelry library) for free! Kits are now available for a wider range of designs and include the yarn and the pattern (and beads if it is a beaded project) as standard.
Many kits can be customised to include your own choice of yarn and you can add on any extras such as needles, cable needles or a mini project bag from the kit page. Here are some of the patterns now available as kits. Click on the picture for more details.
Just to confirm that worldwide delivery is available through the website. I had a few glitches with this recently so apologies if you are outside of the UK and were unable to complete an order. The issues should now be fixed but if you do have any problems please drop me an email at [email protected] and let me know.
Last but not least watch out for a new pattern landing next week, the Paper Lanterns shawl! Stay tuned for more details :)
