'Chora' 4 ply / Sock Yarn - 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon 

Winter Wonderland is a skein that was inspired by snow dyeing! The result is a speckled skein of many colours, from warm pinks and peaches to flashes of dark greens and purples, it has a lovely vintage look to it. You can watch this skein being dyed on my YouTube channel here - https://youtu.be/SH1lEZU_7Ew

This speckled version of Winter Wonderland is a repeatable colourway so if the yarn is showing as out of stock you can still place an order and the yarn will be dyed to order for you.

Yarn Winding Service - The hand-dyed yarn from my shop will be posted to you as skein, which is a big, twisted loop. In order to use your yarn you will need to wind the skien into a ball or a cake so that it doesn't end up as a big tangled mess!

About this Yarn Base - This skein has all the soft and breathable qualities of merino but with the added durability of nylon, making it perfect for sock knitting, or for projects that require that extra bit of robustness. 

The merino yarn has been treated with a superwash which is a process used to flatten out the yarn scales, making them less prone to felting. This means that the yarn can be machine washed, although we do recommend handwashing your hand-knits if possible.
