Votsi - 100% Superwash Blue Faced Leicester

Pistachio is a soft, light and delicate green and one of our custom colours which can be dyed to order. It is also available on different yarn weights and bases.

Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) is an English longwool breed. Whilst not as baby soft as the merino yarn it still feels lovely against the skin and is renowned for its lustrous shine and drape. This 4ply yarn is great for drapey garments, accessories and shawls. It is smooth and gives great stitch definition. The scales of BFL fibre are longer than merino which means they are less resistant to felting.

This yarn has been treated with a superwash which means that the yarn can be machine washed, although we do recommend handwashing your hand-knits if possible.
