This dark orangey red gradient yarn would make a lovely cowl or hat. The skein transitions from a deep russet red to a light soft orange (or visa versa if you start from the middle). This gradient was created by dip dyeing a pre-knitted blank of chunky yarn, with care taken to ensure a seamless gradient. The yarn has already been wound into a 'cake' and is ready for you to start knitting from.
Blocking your finished knit from a blank is highly recommended as this will remove any kinks in the yarn.
Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) is an English longwool breed. The scales of BFL fibre are longer than merino which means they are more resistant to felting. Whilst not as baby soft as the merino yarn it still feels lovely against the skin. This chunky weight yarn is perfect for cables and cozy knits.
This yarn has been treated with a superwash which means that the yarn can be machine washed, although we do recommend handwashing your hand-knits if possible.
