Red Wine by the Fire is a warm mix of glittering deep reds and oranges, speckled with coal black. Sit back and let your stitches transport you to a cold winter night, knitting by a crakling warm fire as you sip on a glass of merlot.

Yarn Winding Service - The hand-dyed yarn from my shop will be posted to you as skein, which is a big, twisted loop. In order to use your yarn you will need to wind the skien into a ball or a cake so that it doesn't end up as a big tangled mess!

This blend has all the soft and breathable qualities of merino but with the added durability of nylon and plenty of sparkle! This yarn is perfect for sparkly sock knitting or adding a shimmer to your shawls. 

This merino yarn has been treated with a superwash which is a process used to flatten out the yarn scales, making them less prone to felting. This means that the yarn can be machine washed, although we do recommend handwashing your hand-knits if possible.
