Votsi BFL

Cast on a riot of colour with this hand-dyed bright, bold colourway! Made up of bright yellows, fuschia pinks and electric turquoises this skein is guaranteed to bring a ray of sunshine to your stitches!

Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) is an English longwool breed. Whilst not as baby soft as the merino yarn it still feels lovely against the skin and is renowned for its lustrous shine and drape. This 4ply yarn is great for drapey garments, accessories and shawls. It is smooth and gives great stitch definition. The scales of BFL fibre are longer than merino which means they are less resistant to felting.

This yarn has been treated with a superwash which means that the yarn can be machine washed, although we do recommend handwashing your hand-knits if possible.
