Votsi BFL

Inspired by a beautiful blue teadress, this yarn is semi-tonal and takes on all different shades of blue as you knit it up.

Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) is an English longwool breed. Whilst not as baby soft as the merino yarn it still feels lovely against the skin and is renowned for its lustrous shine and drape. This aran weight yarn knits up quick and can really showcase a chunky cable pattern. The scales of BFL fibre are longer than merino which means they are less resistant to felting.

This yarn has been treated with a superwash which means that the yarn can be machine washed, although we do recommend handwashing your hand-knits if possible.
